In a strategic collaboration, Sercotec and the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Chile (FEN) launched the Sustainable Impact seal, an initiative aimed at recognizing and promoting the economic, social and environmental impact of entrepreneurship in Chile.
María José Becerra, general manager of Sercotec, highlighted the relevance of this alliance: “We are celebrating not only the start of this program, but also the ten years of the FEN Mercadito, a key space for generating business ecosystems. This collaboration is an example of joint work to strengthen entrepreneurship from a sustainability perspective.”
Becerra also highlighted the benefits of this new seal for entrepreneurs: “We want our SMEs to have a showcase that highlights their efforts in doing business responsibly. The Sustainable Impact seal will be a tool that will not only validate their impact, but will also open doors to new markets and growth opportunities.”
For her part, Camila Farah Belmar, head of the University Social Responsibility area of the FEN, referred to the origin of this initiative: “We have been working for more than 10 years to promote sustainable entrepreneurship from the grassroots, supporting smaller companies that, with effort, bring their products to the market. The Sustainable Impact seal was born as an idea about four years ago, and now, thanks to this great alliance with Sercotec, it is a reality.”
The program seeks to provide entrepreneurs with an opportunity to increase their competitiveness and enter new markets both nationally and internationally. “This seal will allow our entrepreneurs to be recognized for their impact and expand their market insertion. We invite everyone to apply through our platforms and take advantage of this opportunity to grow their businesses,” Farah added.
