The institutional commitment of our faculty requires plans and programs that integrate sustainability into its activities, as well as the participation of the entire community in its development. The General Coordination of the Sustainable Campus, whose mission is to lead certification processes as well as coordinate plans and programs for a Sustainable Campus.

University Local Sustainability Committee (CLUS)
The Sustainability Policy of the University of Chile and the Clean Production Agreement, Sustainable Campus, outline as a medium-term cross-cutting objective the formation of local tri-staff councils, with representation from the executive board, staff, infrastructure, faculty, and students. In this context, the university’s sustainability committee at FEN began meeting in 2017, creating representative spaces for dialogue and improvements regarding university sustainability.
