
Valentina Paredes es Profesora Asistente del Departamento de Economía de la Facultad de Economía de la Universidad de Chile e investigadora asociada en el Centro de Estudios de Conflicto Social y Cohesión (COES).
Ingeniera Comercial y Magister en Economía de la Universidad de Chile, y Ph.D. en Economía de la Universidad de California, Berkeley. Sus áreas de especialización son economía laboral, con énfasis en la economía de la educación, y economía de género. Sus áreas de investigación incluyen el estudio de las brechas de género en educación, y el efecto de profesores en el desempeño de estudiantes.
