Fabián Duarte, Profesor Asociado, director del Departamento de Economía de la Facultad de Economía y Negocios de la Universidad de Chile y Director del Núcleo Milenio en Desarrollo Social, se desempeñó como Director del Centro de Microdatos del Departamento de Economía y Presidente de la Escuela de Desarrollo de Talentos FEN.
Fue Director Asociado y Economista Adjunto para Chile del Center for Latin American Social Policy (CLASP) de RAND Corporation en Santa Mónica, California, también fue Investigador Principal de un grant de NIA (National Institute on Aging) y Co-Investigador principal de un grant de NIH (National Institutes of Health) además ha sido investigador en Yale University, el Banco Central de Chile y la Superintendencia de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras de Chile.
El profesor Duarte actualmente dicta los cursos de Microeconomía I, Métodos Matemáticos avanzados, Economía de Género, métodos cuantitativos IV.
