Daniel Hojman es profesor asociado del Departamento de Economía de la Universidad de Chile y profesor asociado de la Escuela de Gobierno de la Universidad de Harvard.
Fue investigador del Instituto de Estudios Avanzados de Radcliffe y ha publicado artículos de investigación en revistas internacionales como el Journal of Economic Theory y Games and Economic Behavior. Contribuye habitualmente con medios digitales y la prensa tradicional.
Ha estudiado el rol de las redes sociales en el bienestar y la desigualdad, el impacto de la corrupción y los medios de comunicación sobre la participación política y la dinámica de la pobreza. Su investigación reciente se concentra en tres áreas: (i) fundamentos metodológicos para una economía del bienestar que incorpore aspectos centrales de otras ciencias sociales; (ii) políticas públicas para un desarrollo inclusivo y (iii) participación política.
