UChile and FEN stand out in Shanghai Ranking by Disciplines
The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2020 is the first world university ranking. Since 2003, it has evaluated the general performance of higher education institutions around the world, highlighting the national leadership of the University of Chile for 17 years. But since 2017, it also provides a specific analysis in 54 areas of knowledge.
Level and statistics of articles, international collaboration, awards, quality and impact of academic work are part of the analysis of over 4000 universities carried out by the ARWU by disciplines, a ranking that this year placed the University of Chile among the 500 best in the world in 25 disciplines. Our School promotes the following areas: Business Administration and Management once again became the leader in Chile and Latin America. It also highlighted Economics among the best in Chile.
