FEN Uchile Faculty Engages in International and National Academic Activities

In line with its commitment to academic excellence in teaching, research, and international outreach, prominent faculty members from FEN Uchile are participating in academic commissions and study groups, further strengthening the institution’s connection with the global academic community.


Among the activities, Professor Adriana Piazza from the Department of Economics delivered a lecture at the Probability and Statistics Seminar at the Universidad de la República (UDELAR) and participated in the School Choice Workshop at the Universidad de Montevideo, both in Uruguay.


Meanwhile, Professor Eduardo Kohler from the Management area conducted classes for the 2024 Panama edition of the Master’s in Administration program, reinforcing FEN’s regional presence.


On the national front, Professor Francisco Sánchez Morales, also from the Management area, will teach hybrid classes for the Accounting module of the MBA Antofagasta Weekend program from May 9 to 10.


From the Department of Management Control and Information Systems (DCS), Professor Felipe Simon Compte has been authorized to attend a thesis defense at the University of Minnesota and to participate in a workshop at the University of Pennsylvania, both in the United States, from May 5 to 10.


Additionally, Professor Pablo Gutiérrez Cubillos (DCS) will conduct a research stay at the University of Montreal and attend the 59th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Economics Association from May 25 to June 8, 2025.


Lastly, Professor David Díaz Solís (Management) will attend the 34th European Conference on Operational Research in Leeds and carry out an academic visit to the University of Cambridge from June 22 to 27, 2025.
